Blefavis® is an innovative gel, with an isol-acrimal pH, for the cleansing of the eyelid and eyelashes. It normalizes bacterial levels and can be used for daily cleaning of the area around the eye.
INDICATIONS
Blefavis® is a gel preparation especially formulated for daily cleansing of the area around the eye, in particular for sensitive or seborrheic eyelids and eyelashes. This naturally based product is both cleansing and soothing due to the presence of extracts of Malva Glycolic together with hidroglyceric extracts of GSE which help to normalize skin bacteria. Panthenol acts as a moisturizer and is useful as a scar heal coadjuvant stimulating the re-epithelialization of wounds. D-panthenol can be converted to the vitamin B5.
Blefavis® gel is indicated to prevent and/or improve the symptoms of ocular dysfunctions such as blepharitis and Meibomian glands dysfunction. Blefavis® gel can be used for cleansing around the perimeter of the eyelid and thanks to its gentle and isolacrimal pH formulation, it is also recommended for contact wearers and before or after eye surgeries.
PROPERTIES
Blefavis® gel do not contain perfume additives which could cause irritation in people particularly sensitive and provides for delicate cleaning of the eye and the removal of mucous secretion and flaking skin, whether dry or oily, which may build up around the rim of the eyelid. This product not only thoroughly cleanses but also leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness. It normalizes the skin’s bacterial barrier, thus progressively inhibiting the formation of eye secretion and the risk of skin breakdown. Blefavis® gel can be used both in adults and children.

Vegetable Glycerin, Aloe Ferox Gycolic Extract, Malva Sylvestris Glycolic Extract, Citrus Grandis Seed Hydroglyceric Extract (GSE), Panthenol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Carbomer, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Monobasic Potassium Phosphate, Dibasic Potassium Phosphate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Sodium Methylparaben, Water.
HOW TO USE
Carefully clean your hands. Wet the area around the eye and using a finger smooth a small amount of the gel around the eye using circular movements. Keeping the eye closed, massage the affected area until the complete removal of ocular secretions or any foreign bodies (fine particles, powders, make-up, etc.). Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. In the presence of flaking skin use an absorbent gauze wipe for cleaning. Repeat for the other eye. We recommend using it at least twice a day, morning and evening.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Known hypersensitivity to the gel solution.
WARNINGS
For cutaneous use only. Do not apply directly in the eye. Keep out of reach of children.
